Meet Our Team
The Integrated Development Group consists of some of the brightest minds at the University of the Pacific. Coming from a wide range of disciplinary backgrounds, the members of the Integrated Development team form a collaborative and efficient machine working to accelerate social impact both domestically and over seas. Below are the current members of the team and their most recent positions held within the organization. Alayna C. Myrick is a senior double majoring in Mathematical Economics and Applied Mathematics at University of the Pacific. She has been with the Integrated Development Group for over three years in a variety of different roles and was promoted to her current position in May 2017. Beyond the Integrated Development Group, Alayna works with Econometric modeling research and recently received the Nathan Scholarship Award from the Economics Department. She plans on earning her PhD in Developmental Economics and continue her work in the field of data analytics to aid communities across the world.
She is the President of the Phi Chapter of Omicron Delta Epsilon (National Economics Honors Society).
Director of Consulting
Erica Feasel is a senior at University of the Pacific where she is studying International Relations and Economics. She is very involved on campus, not only as a the Director of Consulting for IDG, but also as President of OASIS and a Student Senator. Last year, she studied abroad for a semester in Morocco, and during the summer she interned for Congressman Jerry McNerney’s congressional campaign and for the Office of Mayor Michael D. Tubbs. Erica can’t wait to see where the future takes her, and what opportunities she will have to help make our world a better place for everyone.
Director of Operations
Luis Perez Ortiz is a double major in Applied Mathematics and Economics. He was recently promoted to the position of Director of Operations and plans on taking a hands on role with his responsibilities on the executive team. He will also be leading a small analytics team within the organization in an effort to open the organization up to more clients in need of data management services. Originally from Redwood City, CA, he joined the Integrated Development Group in efforts to attain experience in the world of Economics.
Christopher Fonseca is a junior at University of the Pacific where he is studying Economics and Data Science. He has been a part of the Integrated Development Group (IDG) for the past two years and his work as both a junior, and senior, analyst recently earned him a promotion to Project Manager. Outside of IDG, he enjoys playing Volleyball and is currently the volleyball team’s treasurer. Christopher wishes to earn a Masters Degree in Applied Economics, and hopes to one day find a career where the working environment mimics the Integrated Development Group’s teamwork setting, all in an attempt to further help those around the globe.
Samantha Johnston is majoring in International Relations and Applied Economics. She interned this summer at Nathan Associates in Washington, D.C. In addition to the Integrated Development Group (IDG), Ms. Johnston is also active in Model United Nations, forensics, and the Pacific Legal Scholars organization on campus. She is originally from Montana and plans to go to graduate school after completing her undergraduate degree at Pacific.
Lucy Kamau is a senior currently earning her degree in Applied Economics with additional emphasis in Finance concentrated classes. Being originally from Nairobi, Kenya, she has a keen interest in Macro Economics and International Finance which she intends to pursue in Graduate school. On campus, she is also an Economic analyst of the Eberhardt’s Student Investment Fund and treasurer of the Omicron Delta Epsilon honor society, Phi Chapter. Lucy is currently serving her second semester at IDG as a senior analyst.
Lucy won the IDG Analyst of the Year Award in May 2018.
Britney Pfafman is a second year student at the University of the Pacific. She is an Applied Economics major who chose the Integrated Development Group because of the real life applications of the Economics curriculum and community outreach opportunities it provides. Along with the Integrated Development Group, she is also a member of the Tiger Dancers and on campus Greek life.
Aimee Rivera is a second year student double majoring in Applied Mathematics and Mathematical Economics. She joined the Integrated Development Group to gain experience in practical applications for Mathematics and Economics. Outside of the Integrated Development Group, she is a Tiger Tracks Peer Mentor, Honors Peer, and the president of the University Chorus.
Caitlyn Cantorna is a junior pursuing her degree in Applied Economics. She is an active member in Pacific’s Filipino club, Kilusan Pilipino, and has been since her freshman year. She is also a community and individual tutor at the Center for Community Involvement in Stockton.
Vida Chea is a senior pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Economics on a social science track. She is also currently working as a Desk Assistant at Intercultural Student Success with the goal of providing a safe, inclusive space to the Pacific community while celebrating diversity. Upon graduation, she hopes to pursue a career as an economic analyst and work internationally.
Bianca Piedra is second year pacific student studying International Affairs and Commerce with a minor in Mathematics. She has studied aboard in Antigua, Guatemala where she extended Spanish language fluency. She was also part of Michael Tubbs’ mayor campaign, where she learned the complex of local politics. She hopes to further her professional skills in the Integrated Development Group’s work environment.
Joe Mansfield is a freshman at the University of the Pacific majoring in Business Administration – Finance. Joe joined the Integrated Development Group because he wanted to gain valuable business experience that will benefit him in his future career. He hopes to go on to earn his MBA and pursue a career in investment banking.
Connor DuRoy is a junior double majoring in Applied Economics and Business Finance at the University of the Pacific. He is a recent join of the Integrated Development Group working as a junior analyst in the fall 2018 semester. Beyond the Integrated Development Group, Connor is a full time student who works on various fundraising projects in and outside the classroom setting. Additionally, he is an active member of the honors fraternity Omicron Delta Epsilon.
Noor Harara is currently finishing her last semester at Pacific studying Business with a concentration in Accounting. In the Integrated Development Group, Noor is working as a Junior Analyst for Generosity.org, a non-profit organization that strives to break the cycle of poverty, aspires to restore dignity, and inspires communities to reach their dreams. After graduation, Noor plans on getting the CPA license with hopes of becoming a financial analyst. Her tenacious attitude and grit are a couple of qualities she manifests.
